Michael Vorburger commented on FINERACT-1274:
---------------------------------------------

[~jborkenztain] if I may provide you with a feedback: The issues in this JIRA
(apache.org) are for "backend" work, so for code on
https://github.com/apache/fineract. So in this case, this would be more
appropriately formulated as something like "Clients API should have an Email
field". The fact that such a new field, once available, should then "be
included on the client creation form" technically isn't an Apache Fineract
issue, but something which you would (then) contribute on
https://github.com/openMF/community-app or
https://github.com/openMF/web-app/issues and/or Android App etc. etc.

Also, the way it works is that its quite unlikely that a volunteer will just
magically jump at this; but an "interested party" should just step up to make a
contribution (Pull Request) for this. Or, even better guess, a first
"interested party" (customer user requiring this) should fund, pay for, another
an "interested party" (an implementation partner) to implement this. Active
Committers on thse project are happy to review and merge a pull request about
this.

Hope these explanations about the process help?
