ibrahim kimbugwe commented on FINERACT-1619:
--------------------------------------------
[~francisguchie] Thank you for bringing this up. Currently, mifos supports
multiple currencies. In a microfinance, I wish to have different products in
different currencies and a client can have accounts in more than one currency.
An example is a dollar loan product with Uganda shillings as the base currency.
When disbursing such a loan, I need to assign the exchange rate at that point
in time. I can set it as the exchange rate where all loans issued on a given
day are at that rate.
When running a portfolio report, I view everything in my base currency ie in my
case it is in shillings much as some products are in dollars. [~edcable]
[~rrpawar] [~awasum] what's your opinion on this?
I can provide more user journeys and more light on the use-cases and how banks
leverage that.

> Clients can have multiple currency accounts as this is already available.
> When running reports, I would love as a user to have currency conversion
> where I get all reports in the base currency
