h2. Goal
The existing chargeback capability within the Fineract supports only the
principal portion amount as a chargeback amount. It needs to be enhanced to
support all amount allocations( Charge, Interest, Penalty, and Principal) based
on the transaction allocation from which the chargeback is raised.
h2. Requirements
# Chargeback amount portioning (to the next installment or the N+1
installment) will be done from the repayment that is being chargebacked
## ex: if the repayment of $100($10- charge $90-principal) is chargeback then
the next installment $10 charge portion and $90 principal portion will be added
# Chargebacks should also create a new charge which is due at the time of
initiation of the chargeback and not reversal of the previous charge that would
result in the customer being delinquent since the date of the original
transaction. For example if a chargeback results in a new charge being due, the
due date and delinquency evaluation period of that begins from the date of the
chargeback.
# Should support the configurability of the Advanced allocation rules for the
chargeback transaction type
# Configuration should be at the product level in which order to allocate
