*Business requirements*
# Configuration to select the Next/Last Installment option as future
allocation rule as part of Advanced payment allocation strategy
# Any advance amount should first allocate to the next (current) installment
(as Next installment strategy) and remaining should allocate to last
installment (as Last installment strategy)
# If advance payment comes on the current installment due date then the
payment should be allocate to the last Installment as "Last installment
strategy"
*Steps*
* Introduce a new option to “Future Installment allocation rule”:
** Next / Last installment
* If repayment date is before the current installment due date
** “Next” rule: Allocate any advanced payment to current installment first (as
Next installment strategy)
*** Current installment is behave as next installment while current date is
before the installment due date
** “Last” rule: If current installment fully paid, allocate any in advance
portions to Last installment (as Last installment strategy)
* If repayment date is on the current installment due date
** “Next” rule is skipped
** “Last” rule: Allocate any in advanced portions as “Last installment
strategy”
