Bharath Gowda commented on FINERACT-1813:
-----------------------------------------
[~adamsaghy] I believe we are on the same page, but we are taking different
points of view.
When we create a savings account with "overdraft fees" the system is adding the
charge "overdraft fees" to the savings account, but it will be unpaid at
"{*}charge{*} {*}tab{*}" so the fees will not appear or affect the running
balance in the "{*}transaction tab{*}"
And when the Savings account goes into overdraft, it is expected that the
Overdraft fee would appear in the running balance at the "{*}transaction
tab{*}" and the customer ought to pay this fee also to go out of overdraft. But
this is not happening at the moment.
Please check the example for reference
[https://demo.mifos.community/#/clients/35/savings-accounts/34/transactions]
And as you said, this can be handled in real-time and does not need to be done
through jobs(which I thought would be good as there are a couple of savings
charge-related jobs already)
But we can discuss it later once the issue described is clear.
> Overdraft free is not considered even when amount is negative.
