Arnav Patil commented on FINERACT-2441:
---------------------------------------
Thanks for the detailed explanation. This helps clarify the analytical focus
areas around lending portfolio health such as PAR, loan loss provisioning,
write-offs, and trend analysis.
I will start exploring the common BI use cases in microfinance systems and
study how these metrics are typically derived from the underlying data.
I will also look into the Fineract data structure and review how the Cucumber
tests generate seed data for integration testing. Understanding how test data
is created should help in building realistic sample datasets for a future BI
demonstration.
I’ll document my findings while exploring these areas and continue following
the mailing list and GSOC discussions.

> The idea is to create a connector and a demonstration of analytics that would
> consume and organize data from Fineract.
> For example, create a way to pull data out of Fineract and make it easy to
> use in common analytics such as Power BI or Tableau or, better yet, an open
> source variant. The data should probably go to a Data Warehouse.
> Start by proposing and exploring different options and write up the pros and
> cons.
> Create a demonstration project that takes into account security, levels of
> access, and security of PII data if it exists.
