Summary: Data validators report validation errors against the
wrong parameter name

Several data validators read one request parameter but report the resulting
validation error under the name of a different parameter. As a result, the API
client receives an HTTP 400 response referencing a field that was never sent in
the request. This makes the error difficult to map back to the actual input and
prevents proper client-side field-level error highlighting.
