Aman-Mittal opened a new issue, #764:
URL: https://github.com/apache/fineract-backoffice-ui/issues/764

   ### Summary
   On an **active** fixed deposit, `/products/fixed-deposits/view/{id}` →
Overview shows **"Balance $"** with no amount, an empty *Minimum Balance
Required*, and none of the figures that define a term deposit (deposit amount,
term, maturity amount, maturity date). The data is present in the API response.

   ### Environment
   - App: https://aman-mittal.github.io/fineract-backoffice-ui (deployed `main`)
   - Backend: `sandbox.mifos.community`, tenant `default`
   - Role: superuser
   - 2026-10-16

   ### Preconditions
   FD product `E2E-AUDIT-20261016 FD` and FD account `000000001` for client
`E2EAudit DepositClient`: 5,000 for 12 months at 5%, approved and activated
through the UI.

   ### Steps to reproduce
   1. Open the active FD account → **Overview**.

   ### Expected behavior
   Balance 5,000.00, deposit amount, term (12 months), interest rate,
**maturity amount 5,255.84** and **maturity date 16/10/2027**.

   ### Actual behavior
   UI text:
   ```
   Details  Balance $   Interest Rate 5%   Minimum Balance Required
   Timeline & Status  Activation Date 16/10/2026
   ```
   API (`GET /fixeddepositaccounts/1?associations=transactions`):
   ```
   status Active, summary.accountBalance 5000, maturityAmount 5255.84,
   maturityDate [2027,10,16], depositAmount 5000, depositPeriod 12,
   transactions: [Deposit 5000]
   ```

   ### Evidence
   `src/app/features/products/deposit-account-view.component.ts`
(`origin/main`):
   ```ts
   getAccountBalance(): number | null {
     const balance = this.account()?.['accountBalance'];   // ~l.905
     ...
   getBalance(): number {
     return (this.account()?.['accountBalance'] as number) || 0;  // ~l.915
   ```
   Fixed-deposit responses carry the balance under `summary.accountBalance`,
not at the top level, so `getAccountBalance()` returns null and `getBalance()`
returns **0**. `getBalance()` is in the same component as the closure flows
(comments around l.1028–1126 discuss "closing at maturity / before it"), so a
premature-close or maturity-close dialog that uses it may show or send a zero
balance. **Not verified.** Worth checking before trusting those flows.

   ### Impact
   Staff can't see what the customer holds or what they'll receive at maturity,
which is the core information for a term deposit and the first question in any
customer conversation. If the closure dialogs rely on `getBalance()`, there's
also a risk of wrong closure amounts.

   ### Suggested investigation
   Read `summary.accountBalance`. Add deposit amount, term, maturity amount and
maturity date to the Overview. Audit every use of `getBalance()` in this
component (closure, transfer and withdraw flows). The recurring-deposit view
probably shares this component and the bug.

   ### Verification status
   Reproduced on an active FD. Closure dialogs not exercised.

   ### Related endpoints
   `GET /fixeddepositaccounts/{id}`, `GET /recurringdepositaccounts/{id}`

   ### Acceptance criteria
   - An active FD shows its real balance plus deposit amount, term, maturity
amount and maturity date.
   - A unit test with the real response shape (`summary.accountBalance`)
asserts the rendered balance.
   - Closure dialogs show the correct balance.
