Aman-Mittal opened a new issue, #794:
URL: https://github.com/apache/fineract-backoffice-ui/issues/794

   #### Summary
The client details page doesn't display several fields that the Create
Client form captures and Fineract stores. Mobile number and date of birth only
become visible by opening **Edit**. Group membership and the assigned staff
member aren't shown anywhere on the page. There's also no at-a-glance summary
of the client's accounts and balances: an operator has to visit up to four
separate tabs.

   #### Current behavior
On `/clients/view/:id`, the default **Client Details** tab shows:
   - **General Profile:** First Name, Last Name, External ID, Legal Form.
   - **Contact & Status:** Email Address, Activation Date, Timeline (Submitted).

It doesn't show mobile number, date of birth, gender, client type or
classification, group membership, or assigned staff. Accounts are split across
the Savings, Loan, Deposits and Shares tabs, with no totals.

   #### Expected behavior
   - Every attribute captured by the client form, and returned by `GET
/clients/{id}`, is visible on the details page. Fields with no value show "—".
   - The page shows the client's group or groups as links, and the assigned
staff member.
   - The landing tab shows a compact accounts overview: counts by type and
status, the outstanding loan balance, the total savings balance, and links to
each account.

   #### Steps to reproduce
   1. **Clients → Create Client**: fill First and Last Name, Mobile No (for
example 9876500011) and Date of Birth (for example 15 May 1990), then save.
   2. Open the new client. Neither the mobile number nor the date of birth
appears.
   3. Click **Edit**. Both values are there, so the data was saved.
   4. Open a client who belongs to a group (here, client #1, which is a member
of a group). The page doesn't mention the group.

   #### User impact
   - **Identification:** branch staff verify a walk-in client by phone number
and date of birth. Today they must open the edit form to see them, which risks
accidental edits and requires update permission they may not have.
   - **Group lending context:** without group membership on the client page,
staff can't tell that a client belongs to a joint-liability group before
opening an individual account.
   - **Efficiency:** answering "what does this client owe and hold?" takes
several tab switches.
   - **Duplicate names:** this demo tenant has two different clients both named
"Nadia Islam". With mobile and date of birth hidden, staff have little to tell
them apart.

   #### Evidence
A client created through the UI with mobile 9876500011 and date of birth 15
May 1990. `GET /clients/6` returns `mobileNo: "9876500011"` and `dateOfBirth:
[1990, 5, 15]`, and the Edit form pre-fills both. The details page shows
neither:

![Client details page without mobile number or date of
birth](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Aman-Mittal/fineract-backoffice-ui/assets/issue-screenshots/ux-audit-2026-10-16/client-details-missing-fields.svg)

   Client #1 is in a group (`GET /clients/1` returns a non-empty `groups`
array), but its details page has no group reference; see the screenshot on the
related "New Account" issue.

   In source (`src/app/features/clients/client-view.component.ts`, `main` @
`8da1086f`):
   - **Not referenced at all:** `mobileNo`, `dateOfBirth`, `gender`,
`clientType`, `clientClassification` and `groups`.
   - **Computed but never shown on the details tab:** `staffName`.

   #### Proposed improvement
   - Add the missing fields to the General Profile / Contact cards: mobile,
date of birth (as a date, without time; see #748), gender, client type,
classification and staff.
   - Add a **Groups** row that links to each group.
   - Add an **Accounts overview** card to the default tab. Use `GET
/clients/{id}/accounts`, which the page already relies on for the account tabs,
to show counts and balances with links.

   #### Acceptance criteria
   - [ ] Mobile number, date of birth, gender, client type, classification and
assigned staff are visible on the details page whenever set.
   - [ ] Group memberships are listed and link to the group page.
   - [ ] The default tab shows an accounts overview with totals per type, and
each row links to its account.
   - [ ] A read-only role sees all of the above without needing edit access.
   - [ ] Unit tests cover rendering with and without each optional field.

   #### Verification status
Reproduced on the deployed `main` (2026-10-16), superuser, tenant `default`.
The stored values were confirmed through the API, and the edit form pre-fills
them.

   #### Related API capabilities
   - `GET /v1/clients/{clientId}` returns `mobileNo`, `dateOfBirth`, `gender`,
`clientType`, `clientClassification`, `staffName` and `groups[]`.
   - `GET /v1/clients/{clientId}/accounts` returns loan, savings and share
accounts with status and balances.

Related: #742 (loan accounts tab principal), #748 (date-only fields shown as
timestamps).
