Abhishek Chaudhary updated FINERACT-2970:
-----------------------------------------
Description:
Following the dev list discussion on AI-assisted development ([James's request
for early
versions|https://lists.apache.org/thread/vg50m7kjrhxh3tqto8dgrzr00n80f3lo]),
add an early version of the testing skill, so AI coding agents follow
Fineract's existing test conventions.
New file {{.agents/skills/fineract-testing/SKILL.md}} (Agent Skills format),
covering:
* choosing the suite (unit, the fineract-provider Cucumber tests, integration,
two-factor/OAuth2, Cucumber E2E) and which suites need a running server
* unit test context setup (tenant, business date, Money rounding mode) and
teardown
* integration tests with the Feign client: base classes, FeignCalls, no REST
Assured, rules IT-01 to IT-20
* the hand-kept lists that must change with the code (global configurations,
scheduler jobs, external events)
* running and verifying tests, and the flaky test process
Every step points to the existing doc or CI check it comes from:
CONTRIBUTING.md, the fineract-doc testing chapters, the Checkstyle config and
the workflows. It adds no new rules.
{{.claude/skills/fineract-testing}} is a symlink to
{{.agents/skills/fineract-testing}}, so tools that look in either folder find
the skill.
