For what it's worth the patch looks reasonable to me, if it came with some CG
before and after screen shots I'd check it in. @Maurice no one is more senior
than anyone else here and all checkins are commit then review. There nothing
wrong with trying to improve a patch after it has just been committed. Worse
case it can be easily reverted.
