Just something to note - with all of the above fixes and workarounds, there is
one case that does not seem to be accounted for. Set softkeyboardBehavior to
"pan" and put a TextInput at the bottom of the screen. When it gains focus, the
screen pans up for the keyboard and any padding goes off the screen as well,
leaving you with the status bar overlapping your content again.
