Hi Om,
thanks for your quick feedback! I extended the above mentioned example and
added two new SpinnerLists with iOS7 and Android4 skins; however, the behavior
is still the same. It is very inaccurate and unusable.
However I need to mention that the issue occurs on a Windows PC with a Touch
Screen (Mouse input on these components does also have the same faulty
behavior).
Maybe this has to do with the application dpi (of 72) on windows which may
cause inproperly calculated throw velocity values?

> Project: Apache Flex
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Mobile: DateSpinner, Mobile: SpinnerList
> Affects Versions: Apache Flex 4.13.0, Apache Flex 4.12.1, Apache Flex
> 4.14.0
> Environment: Windows 7 64Bit, Flex 4.14.0, AIR 16

> Priority: Critical
> Labels: DateSpinner, SpinnerList

> The scrolling behavior of the DateSpinner and SpinnerList is very
> inaccurate/broken and does not correctly snap to the nearest list entry after
> the user has finished scrolling. This happens in most of the use cases. In
> fact, the lists spin up or down approximately between 3 to 10 entries,
> depending on the scroll direction.
> This seems to be an issue with the position of the entry under the selection
> indicator. Only if you scroll an entry in a way that it is placed at the very
> middle of the indicator and does not overlap the spinner does not
> automatically spin several items up or down.
> You can use this example to see the inaccuracy/spinning afterwards after
> releasing in action:
