Use an application with direction="rtl" and layoutDirection="rtl".
Inside the application just have a TextInput (could be TextArea also).
type several characters and then use backspace to delete them.
You'll notice that the first character isn't deleted (delete doesn't work
either but selecting the character and deleting works)
