I thought its much nicer for users to provide a typed POJO (implementing
`UserConfig`) instead of a String map.
This approach leaves at least the door open for a typed configuration
object. If you want,
I'll also let the `Configuration` class implement the UserConfig interface,
so that users can used untyped key/value configuration there as well.
