Rebasing to master and running the strict checkstyle analysis across the whole
project yields ~27,000 total violations. By module:
- runtime ~8000
- core ~7300
- java ~3200
- optimizer ~2800
- examples-batch ~1000
- gelly/gelly-examples ~1000
- all others ~3700
