The documentation of the Table API / SQL lacks a discussion of latency and
throughput.
Such a section should be added to the [Streaming
Concepts|https://ci.apache.org/projects/flink/flink-docs-release-1.4/dev/table/streaming.html]
page.
Right now, it is not possible to control latency and throughput of queries.
Query execution aims for the lowest latency which can come at the cost of
throughput.
