Hi [[email protected]], I tried to reproduce your problem with your code
but I was not able to do so. I'm running Intellij Community 2017.2 with JDK 1.8
and used the quickstarts to create a fresh maven project before copying your
code.
[~StephanEwen], I'm not sure whether the job was submitted a split second too
fast, because the {{JobSubmissionClientActor}} connected successfully to the
{{JobManager}} before issuing the blob server port request. Also the
{{BlobServer}} is correctly running.
[[email protected]] maybe you could provide us with logs where you set
{{log4j.logger.org.apache.flink.runtime.jobmanager.JobManager=trace}} in your
{{log4j.properties}} file. This will tell us whether the {{JobManager}}
actually received the blob server request.
