Sihua Zhou commented on FLINK-8922:
-----------------------------------
...Sorry to tell you guys that [~srichter] was right, it is just coincidence...
I have tries multi times this weekend, sometimes it passed sometimes it still
segfaults. I checked the {{WriteOptions}} in {{RocksDB}} in {{C++}}, it just a
class that contains some primary type fields, no pointer was found. Feel so
sorry for my unreliable findings, I should have a double check before give it
out. :(
> Revert FLINK-8859 because it causes segfaults in testing

> We need to revertĀ FLINK-8859 because it causes problems with RocksDB that
> make our automated tests fail on Travis. The change looks actually good and
> it is currently unclear why this can introduce such a problem. This might
> also be a Rocks in RocksDB. Nevertheless, for the sake of a proper release
> testing, we should revert the change for now.
