    Okay I guess we could leave the proper usage of `RuntimeContext` to the 
user. We make it explicit that the `RuntimeContext` will not be available in 
`configure` in the documentation, and if someone is overriding the `open` 
method, they likely know it'll be called several times and can take care of not 
performing, for example, duplicate `accumulator` additions. What do you think?
