tillrohrmann opened a new pull request #7665: [FLINK-11551][rpc] Allow RpcEndpoint to execute asynchronous stop operations URL: https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/7665 ## What is the purpose of the change Replace RpcEndpoin#postStop with RpcEndpoint#onStop method which can execute asynchronous operations in the main thread executor. onStop returns a future which will terminate the RpcEndpoint once it is completed.
