Can you provide more information in the description of this issue?
Are you proposing new functionality (if yes, why should it be added) or is it
about fixing existing features that do not work anymore due to changes in
Hadoop?
Regarding the question of reflection, couldn't we also implement a subclass of
{{Mapper}} that forwards the call to {{Mapper.map()}}?
