pnowojski commented on issue #8858: [hotfix][tests] Change some StreamTask tests to create a test task in the task's thread URL: https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/8858#issuecomment-505898064 I tried to drop the `mock(StreamOperator.class)` and `mock(OperatorChain.class)` calls, but it's not that easy :/ It would require more sophisticated lifecycle simulation in `StreamTaskTest` to make it work, so I'm dropping this issue for now.
