Actually no. {{Catalog}} is the parent and so an aggregation of databases (as
evident from {{Catalog.listDatabases()}}). A database is equivalent of SQL
schema, which is a container of actual meta objects such as tables, views, and
functions.
DDL "use database" is to switch current database in the a catalog.
[~Terry1897] It would be good to add some description to the JIRA to reflect
the problem and the proposal addressing the problem.
