Hi [~sjwiesman],
there are potential overlaps between the pages. IMO "How to use them" in
catalog.md should probably cover hive versions and libraries and mapping,
otherwise, there's no actual instruction for using HiveCatalog in that section?
I have to admit there's a bit ambiguity though. To avoid the confusion, I
wonder if the hive_integration.md should probably be renamed to
hive_compatibility.md, as that's where it's mainly focus on, like ddl, dml,
udf, etc, basically how to use existing Hive stuff in Flink. On one hand, users
use HiveCatalog to reuse whatever they have in their existing Hive cluster. On
the other hand, they can use HiveCatalog without knowing anything about the
interoperability and start without any Hive data as they only use Hive as
metadata storage. That's saying, hive versions/libraries/data mapping are kind
of independent of the hive compatibility content and apply to both use cases,
it's the only thing users need to know in the later case and nothing else.
I'm open to a better doc structure with the above use cases in mind.
