I think that would be ok, however bigger question from my side is whether we
have a good documentation about this issue? In some performance tuning section
in which scenarios it's better to do/try what?
Also I think this commit that affects the performance so much shouldn't be
marked as a hotfix without any release notes. Is this issue mentioned in some
other ticket's release notes?
