rmetzger opened a new pull request #11430: [FLINK-16633][AZP] Fix builds without s3 credentials URL: https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/11430 ## What is the purpose of the change Problem: Builds on Azure where failing if S3 credentials were not provided, because the syntax in the pipeline definition was incorrect. This mostly affected PR builds, because they don't have access to the credentials. ## Brief change log - Use a way to access secret variables that leads to an empty value (instead of the variable name). Also, extend the check in the unit tests to "variable empty" instead of just "variable not set". ## Verifying this change I triggered a build [with](https://dev.azure.com/georgeryan1322/Flink/_build/results?buildId=178&view=results) and [without](https://dev.azure.com/georgeryan1322/Flink/_build/results?buildId=176&view=results) credentials + there is the test run of this PR. ## Does this pull request potentially affect one of the following parts: - Dependencies (does it add or upgrade a dependency): (yes / **no**) - The public API, i.e., is any changed class annotated with `@Public(Evolving)`: (yes / **no**) - The serializers: (yes / **no** / don't know) - The runtime per-record code paths (performance sensitive): (yes / **no** / don't know) - Anything that affects deployment or recovery: JobManager (and its components), Checkpointing, Kubernetes/Yarn/Mesos, ZooKeeper: (yes / **no** / don't know) - The S3 file system connector: (**yes** / no / don't know)
