Resolution: Fixed
I've supplemented the PR with an e2e test (I've repurposed
`StatefulStreamJobUpgradeTestProgram` from `Stateful stream job upgrade
end-to-end test`) and after checking on private azure (green) merged to master
as ff861c2d8d..fbec926d23
