Description:
Flink already supports [async
functions|https://ci.apache.org/projects/flink/flink-docs-release-1.10/dev/stream/operators/asyncio.html],
but still does not support asynchronous sinks. At the moment the only way to
achieve an asynchronous sink is doing a "hack" by using an async function as a
sink, followed by a {{DiscardingSink}} as described
