Hi @eogramow , my only comments have to do with refactorings and you can find them [here](https://github.com/kl0u/flink/tree/FLINK-18362-updated-rebased), or I can do the changes while merging. For the test, why not having something like the tests in the `testPerJobWithProvidedLibDirs`, where the job has a "zip" file shipped to the cluster and the job reads the contents in the `open()` of a rich function.
