Thank you [~danny.cranmer]. I will take a look at it soon. I will also discuss
with the release managers if we can consider this for 1.12. Have you tried to
exclude some of the dependencies above? In the past many dependencies were not
required, due to the way we were using the connector. For example, is joda time
really required?
