Resolution: Fixed
This issue should not be necessary anymore as most Flink configuration
parameters can now be set via the `configuration:` entry in the SQL Client YAML
file.
So the following should work and forwarded to Flink:

configuration:
execution.checkpointing.interval: 42

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
