The linked build is neither valid nor the actual origin of the reported 
failure, as the stacktrace clearly shows that IntelliJ was being used.

The check in this test verifies that Hadoop 2.7+ is used, as only these 
versions support truncating files.
If a lower Hadoop version is used, then the assumeTrue calls results in the 
test being skipped.
