After an offline discussion with [~jark], we decided there's no proper fix for
this issue and it should be covered by [hive query
compatibility|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FLINK/FLIP-152%3A+Hive+Query+Syntax+Compatibility]
instead. So I'm closing this one.
