@sv3ndk Thanks for your suggestion. It seems we can use `com.google.protobuf.Descriptors.FieldDescriptor.hasDefaultValue` to check whether the default value is set of a field. This proposal looks good to me. @libenchao @wuchong Could you review his suggestion and give some feedback.
