@zentol I do not think it is a good idea to change the behavior of tests if
we do not work on the functionality they test. I think this is border-line
"unrelated change", like the one that got this bug in the codebase in the first
place. I reported this just because I was reading the test code to see sth and
not because I changed the underlying functionality.
