In that case let's maybe focus on finding the right default value for this
parameter. It would be great to have a sane default that doesn't create
performance problems and at the same time solves the problem you were
describing. Otherwise only very very few people will know about this
configuration option and how to use it.
What do you think should be the sane default value [~Thesharing]?
