I tried the Hybrid Source for a combination of reading from a time-bucketed S3
source (created with
https://ci.apache.org/projects/flink/flink-docs-master/docs/connectors/table/filesystem/#filesystem-sql-connector)
and a Kafka Topic using the Kafka broker timestamps as the starting point.
That part worked well.
I did not test any failover situations, though.
