This was tested with a real world use case originally reported by a user
consisting of 2 outer joins ([see
here|https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/17060/files#diff-a08bcfb72b9ea9207dbc53c4149608589136f22c1f8b6acb1a84083708d18807]).
The testing discovered several blocker issues at different locations in the
stack that have been fixed in the meantime. We have performed the final
end-to-end test as part of FLINK-23850.
