@AHeise Yeah, I think I much prefer that. I can adjust the JIRA ticket to reflect the more generic approach and remove this effort as it doesn't make a ton of sense if we elect to adopt a more holistic approach. I'd love to start working on this as I'd imagine it'd be primarily interfaces (`DynamicSink?`, `SinkRouter`) along with some corresponding docs that explain basic usage.
