The motivation of the fix: Right now, you can read debloat configuration only from taskManagerConf the same as many other properties from TaskManagerOptions . So it is impossible right now to configure buffer debloat via taskConfiguration. Unfortunately, our configuration is confusing. Some settings can be configured through StreamExecutionEnvironment or taskConfiguratioon while others are not and sometimes it is understandable but in most cases, I don't see any explicit reason why we can not do so. Perhaps, it would be good to configure buffer debloat on the job level( StreamExecutionEnvironment) but it requires further investigation and separate ticket. This PR just fixes one setting in the same way as other buffer debloat settings to give an opportunity to configure it at least somehow. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
