## What is the purpose of the change
Currently, `RpcEndpointTest.testCallAsyncTimeout` submits a task that is
expected to time out,
but the timeout is not guaranteed: the time the main thread sleep can still
be less than the
other thread waits for it for timeout.
This change makes the main thread to wait for a signal (latch) to enforce
timeout
(the signel is only sent when the test finishes).
## Verifying this change
This change is a trivial rework without any test coverage.
