Imho, I'm always thinking on the safest side of things, If we allow it then we give some flexibility but the issue is always there, and sooner or later we will have retractions from the next index for records that are inserted in the current index, so I cannot see how that flexibility provides some value over the danger of having to deal with those retractions and amend "manually" the records. To be more clear, I cannot see a case were we can have retractions working smoothly all the time and avoid this issue. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
