Flink Jira Bot updated FLINK-3110:
----------------------------------
    Labels: auto-deprioritized-major requires-design-doc stale-minor  (was:
auto-deprioritized-major requires-design-doc)

I am the [Flink Jira Bot|https://github.com/apache/flink-jira-bot/] and I help
the community manage its development. I see this issues has been marked as
Minor but is unassigned and neither itself nor its Sub-Tasks have been updated
for 180 days. I have gone ahead and marked it "stale-minor". If this ticket is
still Minor, please either assign yourself or give an update. Afterwards,
please remove the label or in 7 days the issue will be deprioritized.

> Support for the partition-centric computation model has long been in Gelly's
> roadmap. The model exposes the partition structure to the user and allows
> exploiting the local graph structure inside a partition to avoid unnecessary
> communication. A more thorough description of the model and its advantages
> can be found in [this paper|
> http://researcher.ibm.com/researcher/files/us-ytian/giraph++.pdf].
> Kien and Nikola from KTH are currently working on this and will be ready to
> share results soon. You can keep track of our progress in [this
> repository|https://github.com/vasia/gelly-partition-centric].
> Feedback is of course greatly appreciated!
