The hive profiles are not used in CI in order to reduce build time. But they come in handy when we want to verify a certain hive version is supported. So I'd prefer not to remove/break them, if possible. Of course, if upgrading the minimum supported hadoop version means we also need to drop support for older hive versions, we can remove the affected profiles accordingly. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
