@gaoyunhaii thanks again for the fruitful discussion. I addressed your concerns 1. Only handling the parallelism overwrite in the SinkTransformationTranslator and deleted the change to the Transformation 2. Delete the added transformations from the environment after the expansion is finished. It allows to run `getExecutionPlan` and `execute` together and allows further configurations to the sink transformation that still apply to the subtransformations. 3. For now I disabled the summary updates https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-25920 4.
