+1 to deprecate this PR. Given that we me multiple problems trying to fix this problem and the temporary fix would become complex and add more risk, I think reworking the methods use new source interface later would be a better solution. Thanks @zhoulii for the work on this PR and looking into the problems! And thanks @wanglijie95 for the reviewing and investigation!
