I don't understand why the TDD would be smaller between the 2 proposals; at the 
end of the day the structure on the wire should be identical. Even more 
confusing it seems to become more efficient the larger the parallelism 
is...that doesn't make any sense to em.

Could you explain what exactly the benchmark is measuring?
