I think the first thing we can do is: We can start with a design document in PR comments which gives a general description of the APIs that the Hive connector needs to use. These APIs should be relatively public, they don't necessarily need to be marked as Public, but we need to make sure that these APIs are simple enough to make the future connectors as simple as possible. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
