[~martijnvisser] According to the Jira comment email, 1.16.1 was marked as
fixed by [~chesnay].
I also checked 1.16 release branch, this feature was actually not merged into
it. And the PR link is wrong, it should be
[https://github.com/apache/flink/pull/20140.] Maybe this is the reason why
[~chesnay] thought this was fixed already in 1.16 branch.
